Privacy Policy

Last updated July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Trinity Locke ("we," "us") collects through trinitylocke.com and related brand-account tools, how we use it, and what we do not collect.

1. Contact

Questions or privacy requests: hello@trinitylocke.com.

2. Information you provide

  • Email address when you join the newsletter or a bonus-chapter list.
  • Optional form fields you choose to submit (for example a name or note, if a form includes them).
  • Messages you send us by email.

3. Information collected automatically

Hosting and security providers (for example Vercel and Cloudflare) may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, request path, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP. These logs are used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on the Site.

4. Newsletter processing

Newsletter signups are processed by our email provider (currently MailerLite) so we can send the updates you requested. That provider acts as a service provider for list storage and message delivery. You can unsubscribe at any time.

5. Trinity Locke brand social-account tools

Separately from public Site visitors, we may authorize platform apps (Meta/Instagram, Threads, Facebook Page, TikTok) so Trinity Locke can manage our own brand accounts. In that limited context we may process:

  • account identifiers and usernames for the Trinity Locke brand accounts;
  • media metadata for content we already published or are preparing;
  • aggregate insights available through the platform APIs;
  • OAuth tokens needed to perform those actions, stored in a private secret vault (macOS Keychain / secret-agent path), not in public website files or chat logs.

For TikTok specifically, the current authorized scope set is limited to user.info.basic and video.upload for creator-inbox draft delivery. Final public TikTok publication remains human-controlled. We do not request TikTok video.publish for this app configuration.

6. What we do not collect

  • follower or viewer identity dossiers from social platforms;
  • direct messages from readers' private inboxes;
  • payment card data on this Site;
  • biometric identifiers;
  • precise device location beyond ordinary server logs.

7. How we use information

  • to operate the Site and deliver requested reader emails;
  • to manage Trinity Locke's own social accounts and content workflows;
  • to secure systems, prevent abuse, and debug failures;
  • to comply with law or valid legal process.

8. Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to run the Site and brand tools (hosting, email delivery, platform APIs), or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

9. Retention

  • newsletter records until you unsubscribe or we close the list;
  • server logs for a limited operational period;
  • staged media for brand workflows is temporary and deleted after verified handling;
  • OAuth tokens are retained only while needed for authorized brand-account operations and can be revoked.

10. Security

We use HTTPS, least-privilege secrets handling, and access controls appropriate to a small author brand system. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Never send passwords or API secrets by email or chat.

11. Children

The Site is a general audience author site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Your choices

You may unsubscribe from email, request access/deletion of newsletter records we control, or ask questions about brand-account processing by emailing hello@trinitylocke.com. Platform-side permissions can also be revoked in each platform's account settings.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
